Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Teacher/Tutor of Physics, on a part time basis, for the academic year.

Tradewind are working with an excellent school in Hull, who are looking for a teacher/tutor on a part time basis. You will be teaching 2 days per week, and will be responsible for one class, of less than 5 students! You will be completing all the planning and marking with a teaching role, but will have time for this throughout the day. For this reason payment will be between £120.00 and £150.00 per day for this position. We are looking for a practitioner to start ASAP, and this position will last (provisionally) for the academic year.

You will be working in a truly excellent school, and this position has only arisen as more students have taken the subject than expected. You will be teaching some excellent year 12 students who are excited to learn, and looking to make progress. You will be the sole teacher for this subject, and for this reason we need a true Physics specialist, ideally with experience teaching Physics to A level in past positions. The school is committed to providing exceptional teaching across all subjects, and have improved their science provision hugely in recent years.

The role:
*Teaching 3-5 students A level Physics
*Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum
*Providing progress reports

We are looking for a teacher with effective subject knowledge, and an eagerness to provide an excellent quality of education. You will be working with an excellent head of department who is willing to work hard to help develop staff members. Essential requirements:
A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service, and collection of at least two verified references.
