This is an outstanding PMLD school in the Wandsworth area are looking for a talented learning Teacher to join their team on a long term basis.
Our client is an all ages specialist school, specifically designed for students with PMLD. Majority of pupils are wheelchair users, are medically dependent and require support with personal care.

Pupils have access to fantastic facilities which include:

Hydrotherapy pool
Sensory rooms
On site physiotherapists

There are multiple PMLD Teacher roles available and many have excellent career progression pathways available, are starting immediately. All applicants must be willing to work 5 days a week and school hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm occasionally 4pm.
We are looking for a PMLD Teacher who can embrace the working environment, have compassion, The chosen PMLD Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status and have a least two years teaching experience in the UK, as well as experience teaching those with special needs or those with an EHCP.

Staff members who currently work at this school say that the permanent staff are very welcoming. This role is based in an SEN school however due to the ability levels of the students that you will be teaching, this role would also be suitable for a primary teacher that is keen to take a step into SEND.

As a PMLD Teacher, you must have a very adaptive, patient and enthusiastic nature as well as a creative approach to learning as you will be required to plan and teach lessons that will keep all students engaged.

Working within this SEND school you will work alongside a fantastic SLT team who will assist you where possible to reach your full potential in the classroom. The staff have a positive and passionate attitude they are committed to bringing fun and happiness in to the children's daily school routine.
Applicants ideally will have:
SEN experience
Be aware of/ able to use assistive tools such as hoists
Have strong communication skills
Planning and marking

* PMLD Specialist Teacher
* Maternity Cover
* P level knowledge
* PECS and Makaton experience
* Strong knowledge of PMLD
