PPA Cover - Tameside
PPA Cover - Tameside
The school is a successful two form entry primary school in Tameside catering for children between the ages of three and eleven. The school's vision is to provide children with meaningful opportunities and experiences to become global citizens who have a desire to learn.
Since this is a PPA cover role, to know and understand how pupils transition across the school will be hugely beneficial. Excellent behaviour management skills will be advantageous with an ability to utilise a range of techniques that are effective for different age groups. The school would ideally like someone who has recently taught across the curriculum and has a clear understanding of the curriculum content. You will be required to quickly build relationships with colleagues and pupils alike and be capable of being versatile across school.
The successful candidate will be:
An outstanding teacher with the drive and capacity to really thrive in this role.
Have high expectations and an ability to differentiate learning to maximise outcomes.
Highly motivated with good interpersonal skills.
Positive, pro-active and have the ability to be reflective and improve.
A team player who can work in partnership with others.
Be resilient, hard-working, solution focused and wholeheartedly committed to transforming student outcomes
The School is led by a highly experienced Head Teacher who puts their staff first and promotes high-quality CPD throughout the academic year. The school received 'Good' in their most recent OFSTED inspection and have since continued to work hard to maintain and build on this success.
The school is situated in diverse community in Tameside with a large proportion of EAL learners. As a result, the successful candidate must be able to utilise strategies to support language barriers in order to unlock children's educational potential.
- A minimum of 2 years experience teaching across the National Curriculum
-Experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- A right to work in the UK.
If you have the qualities required, along with the passion and aspirations to contribute to the success of the school then we would welcome an application from you.
