Tradewind recruitment are recruiting a skilled and experienced teacher to support Upper KS2 (Year 5 and 6) from September 2020.

The role is for 5 days per week for the academic year 2020/2021.

The school:
This wonderful three form entry primary is in Ilford and serves the local community. The staff at the school work hard to provide children with opportunities to develop socially, emotionally, academically and physically.

The school was graded good in their most recent Ofsted and have achieved above average results in last year's national assessments.

The role:
The role will involve supporting small targeted intervention groups of varying abilities in KS1 and lower KS2 with a focus on English and Maths. You will be responsible for planning and assessing children's work and will be focused on raising attainment for your targeted pupils. You will also cover classes on two of your five days so must feel comfortable teaching across KS1 and lower KS2. You will be an experienced teacher who has excellent KS1/lower KS2 knowledge and will be able to work well in a team of other teachers.

Essential requirements:
*QTS (Qualified teacher status)
*Experienced teaching KS1/Lower KS2
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional school references
