PPA teacher

Are you a flexible teacher experienced teaching year groups across Key Stage 1 and 2? Tradewind are working with a primary school in the North Sheffield seeking a qualified teacher on a part time basis from January until the end of the academic year. The role is 3 days a week Monday to Wednesday and will be covering teachers PPA cover from Year 1 to Year 5.
The successful person would have responsibility for delivering the planning set by the class teacher and marking the work completed. Some time will be set aside in your timetable to do this.
You will also be expected to attend all in house training both after school and on inset days over this period. Good classroom management is essential for this role as is an ability to quickly build rapport with classes of children.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher to gain experience of all year groups and understanding of the curriculum in each of them.
The school has a strong ethos and promotes a nurturing inclusive setting where all children can thrive. As a result behaviour is generally good across all year groups. Senior Leadership provide a supportive environment where staff feel supported.
The school has access to a private car park for staff to use during the day and has a covid secure risk assessment in place.

Pay £130.00 - £170.00 per day

To join us and be successful in this PPA teacher role you will need to:
Hold a teaching qualification with QTS.
Be confident delivering to all year groups from Year 1 to Year 5.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
