The role is due to start in September 2020 and is to cover maternity leave until March 2021. This is a long-term role MSP 1-6, £24,373 - £35,971 per annum.

The school is a larger than average 2 form entry state school part of a larger federations of schools in Hertfordshire. The federation and school are highly inclusive and so there are a large number of children with SEN and also high FSM%. The school itself is a learner school for new teachers and share best practice across the schools in the federation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PPA Teacher with at least 2-3 years' experience to support across KS1 and KS2. The head is looking for confident teacher who can hit the ground running to cover this maternity leave starting this September on a full-time basis.

The school is well connected being located close by to the mainline Stevenage train station as well as being served by a number of regular bus routes. The school also has a large carpark for staff.

Essential requirements:
*Enthusiastic about delivering interactive and creative approaches to learning in a cross curricular context
*Knowledge of the KS1& KS2 curriculum
*Ability to work well with and support colleagues
*An organised individual able to work independently
*Flexible individual able to plan for KS1 & 2 lessons if required

Knowledge and proven experience teaching or supporting the UK national curriculum in KS1 or KS2
Hold PGCE with QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
