About the School - Primary AHT - Waltham Forest, East London
A well-run and fast paced community Academy School set close to the popular town centre of Walthamstow is looking to add capacity to its Senior Leadership Team for September by appointing a Primary Assistant Head Teacher on an initial one year fixed term contract. This is an Ofsted Outstanding school with high expectations for all pupils. The school is determined to maintain this high level and with many of the teacher at the school being relatively new to teaching the are looking for an AHT who will support their development using the Academy's structured teaching model that has proven highly successful. This School like the others in the trust follow a set programme of teaching and whoever joins the school as a member of SLT must be open to taking on board the trusts methods and ensuring teaching staff develop accordingly.

Role requirements - Primary AHT - Waltham Forest, East London
*Must be an experienced teacher who holds UK QTS who has held some middle leadership responsibility.
*The Trust does not require teachers to have progressed to the upper pay scale (although those that have are welcomed) but would rather see outstanding teaching in the first instance and an ability to carry on developing as a leader.
*This school teaches in a structured method that has served it exceptionally well over the year They are looking to appoint someone who can work following this method.
*Initial 1 year fixed term employed through the school that could be upgraded to permanent based on performance.
