We have an 'outstanding' primary school in the borough of Merton seeking an Intervention Teacher with a proven track record of raising levels of attainment to work 3 days a week from April 2019 or sooner.

This is a long Term/Permanent Intervention key stage 2 role in the morning and then in the afternoons you will be accountable for the wellbeing of lovely year six class. You will be responsible for coordinating educational intervention activities that will contribute to their language, social and personal skills.
Good communication skills and a flexible attitude are a must to be successful in these valuable positions.

This schools is graded 'Good' and the school has constantly achieved above the national average scored in Reading and Maths for the last 10 years. For each child there is an expectation of participation, fulfilment and success; where teaching and learning is characterised by ambitious objectives, challenging personal targets, rapid intervention to keep pupils on an upward trajectory and rigorous assessment to check and maintain pupil progress.

To be considered for this Key Stage 2 Teacher role you must have Qualified Teacher Status (UK or equivalent) and have at least 1 year of UK teaching experience.
Depending on the experience of the successful teacher the starting salary range in which you would be paid to scale would range from £27,759 - £33,957per annum.
