About the School - Primary NQT - SEN School

Located in Watford, Hertfordshire this specialist SEN school supports children between the ages of 11 and 16 who have special educational needs in Autism, Learning Difficulties or Speech and Language. Many of the students are learning at Key Stage 1 or 2 levels and their needs are better met by the general all-round teaching offered by Primary School Teachers rather than secondary trained staff. The school is a teacher training school and an excellent place to develop. They have successfully developed NQT's over the past 5 years and are now looking to bring two new teachers in from September who will be given an excellent induction.

Role requirements - Primary NQT - SEN School

• A newly qualified Primary Teacher who is passionate about special educational needs and has the confident to support secondary aged pupils who learn at KS1 and 2 levels.
• This thriving SEN School is exceptional at supporting NQT's through their induction but requires all incoming teacher to have SEN understanding and have worked with SEN pupils at some stage through TA/LSA or their teacher training.
• This school offers ongoing training and professional development so a teacher who is to continue developing their own practice will be best fit.
