Are you a qualified SENCo who would like to work in an exceptional mainstream Primary School that has a highly inclusive ethos and great provision for SEN pupils via its ARP? Are you looking for a new role this September possibly sooner ?Are you keen to find a role where you can add value and shape the direction of SEN practice at this great school?

Tradewind is working with a very good, newly built (last 5 years) school in Hemel Hempstead part of an award winning inclusive academy made up of 4 schools across Hertfordshire. They are in need of a new SENCO to replace their current SENco who has relocated. This is a rare opportunity for a dedicated SEN specialist to join a great school from September!

***Temporary role starting September 2020 possible sooner with the view to be considered permanent - MPS/UPS plus TLR
***Post is only open to those holding National SENCo qualification or equivalent

About the School - Primary SENCo - Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

The school is a large 2-3 form entry school in the heart of Hemel Hempstead. A New building with extensive parking a large outdoor play area for the children including a basketball court and woodland area. The school is well resourced with IT suite, large open plan library area, sensory room and big bright classrooms. As part of a larger academy the school push best practive across all 3 schools and training and development is a priority for all our clients staff.



About the Role - Primary SENCo - Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
*The school can only accept applications from experienced SENCo's who hold a current SENCO qualification.
*This school expects its incoming SENCo to be hands on, getting involved with teaching and modelling good practice for all teaching staff. A warm, friendly personality that understands how challenging this role can be is an essential requirement of the post.
*This school is fortunate to have many SEN professionals who are keen to develop themselves further so a leader who can shape careers is also a key requirement.
