Tradewind are seeking to appoint a Year 4 Teacher to lead a year group and a curriculum team for a three-form entry primary school start in September 2019 based in Kingston

We are currently looking to consider any phase or year group preferences from Year 4 - Year 4 to start 5th September 2019. Opportunities for further career progression, leadership and promotion are available for motivated and talented teachers. This is an Inner London School and can offer an attractive salary of MPS £28,100 - £42,000 or UPS for the successful applicant. Experience as a Year 4/5 Teacher teaching in a full classroom role is essential.

This three-form entry community primary school has recently been through and expansion programme to expand the school from two to three forms of entry. *A history of excellent teaching with specialist knowledge of teaching in KS2

General Primary Year 4 Teacher Responsibility:
*To be responsible for a class of children within the school.
*To be a committed and active member of the staff team and school community
*To develop planning within a specified year group and to prepare and evaluate activities in line with school policy and procedure.
*To monitor the social and emotional needs of the children, and to liaise with appropriate staff and agencies.
*To maintain effective records of pupil progress, including groups and individual pupils, using tracking procedures, teacher assessment and any other agree system
*To ensure the good behaviour of all pupils in the school, supporting whole school procedures
*To be committed to the maintenance of high standards and quality of education throughout the school
*To follow the agreed school procedure for the display and presentation of pupils' work, ensuring that appropriate support staff are briefed when deployed to present pupils' work

To join us and be successful in this Class Teacher role you will need to:
-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
