We are recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in the Trafford area. They are looking for a KS2 teacher to cover Long term Maternity leave starting October 2020 until the end of the academic year. This long-term role is paid at a competitive rate based on your experience.

The school have invested heavily in resources to support pupils with SEND and EAL. To ensure these resources are used effectively, they are looking for a teacher with great experience of teaching SEND & EAL pupils and who will be able to use the resources to support learning. As a cohort, the teaching team provide fantastic learning experiences to their pupils and are always willing to help colleagues.

As one of the KS2 teachers, you will be encouraged to be actively involved with school events and where possible provide additional learning opportunities through after school clubs. You will also be expected to:
*Plan and Teach a balanced and diverse curriculum
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's development, attainment and personal needs
*Make effective use of ICT in the classroom
*Build pupil's love for learning through inspirational learning experiences
*Develop a classroom environment centred on mutual respect
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment

We are looking for applicants who:
*Have Qualified Teacher Status with at least 1-year experience in a KS2 setting
*Is committed to providing creative and inspiring learning experiences
*Has excellent communication skills, use of initiative and organisational skills
*Have a good grasp of ICT
*Has an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Has the right to work in the U.K
