The headteacher of this lovely Trafford faith school is after a Year 1 Teacher to cover a long-term Maternity leave. The role is based with a class of 30 children who are supported by a Teaching assistant who has been at the school for the last 8 years. The school follow the Read, Write Inc. programme, knowledge of this would be desirable.
The role commences October 2020 and runs until the end of the academic year.

As the Reception teacher you will be responsible for ensuring the children have a safe and engaging learning environment founded on a clear routine. You will also need to:
*Plan and Teach a balanced and diverse play-based curriculum
*Assess, track, and report on the pupil's attainment and personal development
*Promote pupils to build their independence
*Encourage pupils engage with learning through targeted questioning
*Establish positive relationships with parents and carers
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment.


We are looking for applicants who:
*Have Qualified Teacher Status and at least 1 year of teaching experience
*Is committed to providing creative and inspiring learning experiences
*Has excellent communication skills, use of initiative and organisational skills
*Has an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Has the right to work in the U.K
