On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Year 4 Teacher for a long-term position at a Primary School in a beautiful suburb of Tameside. This is a full-time role commencing September 2020 and will run for a full academic year.
This is an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' two form entry school which is hugely popular in the area due to its strong child-centred approach and commitment to its core educational values. The school has excellent transport links to Manchester and other surrounding areas making it easily accessible and has a large car park that can be utilised by all staff members.
As the Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for a mixed-ability class of approximately 30 children and can embrace creative teaching opportunities as a result of the broad curriculum offered by the school. A strong curriculum knowledge and an ability to differentiate learning for ranging levelled learners will be hugely beneficial to the role.
As one of the Year 4 teachers you will be expected to:
*Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 4 class
*Teach a balanced curriculum and ensure that each child fulfils his or her potential by meeting high level expectations in your daily practice
*Thoroughly plan and deliver engaging lessons alongside the other Year 4 Teacher, making full use of resources and utilising other experienced professionals.
*Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as continually monitor their personal, social and emotional wellbeing.
