About the School - Primary Teacher & Numeracy Coordinator - Hackney, East London
From September, this large and successful Hackney Primary school is looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teacher who would be keen to teach in either Year 3, 4 or 5 plus lead Numeracy across the school. The school is currently rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and has the capacity to support either NQT's or experienced teachers. The school is also able to be able to offer potential responsibility to experienced teachers with a TLR attached. This school is well run and has students that are keen to learn. Students come from a variety of backgrounds and there are over 40 languages in use at the school although attainment and attendance is high with the school out performing 90% of other schools in the country. The reason for this performance is down to the excellent teaching that takes place daily which encourages progression at every opportunity. There are no behaviour issues at this school and parents are fully involved in their children's education. Numeracy is of huge importance to the school and they are looking for a passionate middle leader.

Role requirements - Primary Teacher & Numeracy Coordinator - Hackney, East London
*Experienced Primary Teacher with a minimum of 3 years UK teaching practice completed.
*Strong subject knowledge in Maths or Science and a passion for inspiring both colleagues and students.
*Ability to teach 'Good' or better lessons in all subjects on a consistent basis.
*A strong middle leader who inspires confidence in staff and a passion for raising standards in numeracy across the key stages.
