Tradewind are currently recruiting an outstanding primary teacher for a popular school in Barnet. The role is for a part-time Year 6 job share with a teacher who has leadership duties and is due to start after February half-term. It is likely that the school will need the class covering on a regular Thursday and Friday.
This is a Catholic school, with a lovely Headteacher and a very dedicated team in place.

The school:
Following the last Ofsted inspection at the school, they were graded as "good" in all areas and this is down to the consistent approach by the senior leadership team, but also by the dedication shown by the staff throughout the school. This is a two form entry school and each year group plans together on a weekly basis. The school features strongly in the local community and is lucky to have strong support from parents.
With a large school field and excellent sport facilities the school is well-resourced throughout.

Parking is available in the small carpark or there is plenty of on-road parking available. They are a short bus ride from the nearest Northern Line station.

The school is Catholic and these values are at the heart of the school's work and the provision for moral and spiritual development is strong. The school welcome candidates who are not Catholic, or who have no faith and who are willing to work with the school values.

The Role:
This is a part-time , 2 day per week Year 6 role, likely to be on a Thursday and Friday every week.
You will be working closely with the main class teacher and will be planning together each week so you will be have an active role in what is being taught.
You will be asked to prepare lessons and activities and make sure that marking and assessment is completed.

This is a lovely school with a great team and you will be well-supported. The school has very good resources to help the children with their work.


Essential requirements:
To be considered by the school for this role you will need to have:
*QTS (or equivalent)
*Very good curriculum knowledge
*The legal right to work in the UK
*Experience of teaching Year 6 children and helping with SATS preparation.
*Unfortunately, the school can only consider an experienced teacher for this role at present.
