This large 3-form entry primary school in Bexley South East London, are currently recruiting for a full time year 5 teacher. The position starts ASAP on a full time basis with an annual salary of up to £41,483.

This school is housed in a traditional Victorian building, which opened in 1891 to meet the needs of the growing population of the area. With the exception of its closure during the second world war, it has been open ever since. The dedicated and passionate staff here work hard to ensure that all children are given every opportunity to become successful, confident and happy learners so that they will look back on their years at the school with pride and a sense of achievement, wherever their talents lie. The schools primary focus is to raise the standards of all our children whilst continuing to provide a broad, stimulating and engaging curriculum for everyone in our school. It is exciting, creative and dynamic and is very much at the heart of the local community. Their nursery even has chickens!

The school is a short walk from a busy train station. It also has parking facilities for those who wish to drive.

The Headteacher is keen to recruit a full-time year 5 teacher.

The teacher must have:
*Full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*A sound understanding of the UK curriculum
*Key stage 2 experience (ideally year 5)
*Have full time availability
*A committed, hardworking attitude
*The ability to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Excellent behaviour management skills
*The ability to work effectively within a large team
