Primary Teacher - Cover Teacher - North Manchester - April 2021 start

Tradewind are currently looking for an outstanding Primary Teacher who has the flexibility to support one of our long-standing client schools in the role of a cover teacher. This role is full time and is due to commence in April 2021 and will last until the end of the academic year. This role comes with a competitive salary that will match your experience and suitability to the role.

Due to the complexities of this academic year, this school has decided to utilise their catch up funding to 'free up' their class teacher's so they can deliver 1-1 booster sessions for children within their class. As the schools cover teacher, you will be required to cover a range of classes throughout the school to support the class teacher's absence from the classroom. You will be working in a one-form entry 'Good' Primary school in North Manchester, which is located 3 miles outside the city centre. There is a large staff car park and a number of major public transport links located within a short walking distance of the school.

As the school's Cover Teacher, your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Covering class teachers whilst they support children outside the classroom through targeted intervention sessions
• Liaising with every class teacher across school (nursery - Year 6) to ensure the work that you provide is consistent with the level the children are learning.
• Ensure that the work set is delivered to a high standard and that you make a substantial contribution to marking.

Essential requirements:

• Fully qualified Teacher Status
• A minimum of 2 Years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom
• Experience in Keys Stage 2 is desired but not essential
• The school have specified that a specialism in a core subject would be beneficial in this role.
• A proven track record with references to support this.
