Primary Teacher - Cover Teacher - Stockport

Tradewind are currently recruiting an experienced and flexible Primary teacher for a thriving school in the Stockport area. The role is a cover teacher role and you are required to start after February half term and will be needed for the rest of the academic year. This role is a full time, long term role with a salary which will match your suitability to the role.

As the school's main cover teacher, you will be working in a 2-form entry Primary School which has been recently graded as 'Good' in its most recent Ofsted inspection. This school believes their school should be a place where children and staff feel safe whilst striving to reach their full potential. This school is excellently connected to other areas of the borough, so the school actively encourage pupils and staff to commute to school by public transport rather than by car. This school benefits from excellent facilities as well as a secure staff car park.

As the schools Cover Teacher, your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

*Flexibility to support all Year groups, from Year 1 to Year 6 (you will not be required to teach in Early Years)
*Covering PPA and first day sickness cover throughout the whole school
*Liaising with all the school's full-time class teachers to ensure the work you have planned is consistent with what the children should be learning.
*Assisting in interventions and booster sessions at varying times of the year.

As a cover teacher, you will be expected to be flexible with both your delivery of the curriculum as well as behaviour management.

Essential requirements:

*Fully qualified Teacher Status
*A minimum of 3 Years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom
*Experience in both Key Stages is essential
*The school have specified that a specialism in a core subject would be beneficial in this role.
*A proven track record with references to support this.
