Are you a teacher looking for a new opportunity to work in a Reception class? We are looking for a Reception teacher to join a brilliant school from Easter 2020.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated, committed and experienced teacher to join this school based in Enfield, North London, for an Easter start. This is a full-time contract, initially until July 2020 and the salary will be Outer London scale £28355 - £40035.

The school is two form entry throughout, so you will be working closely with the parallel class teacher for planning and assessment etc. This teacher has been at the school for around 4 years. There is a lovely atmosphere in the EYFS department, with a very busy environment and a lovely outdoor play area. Each class has two assistants on a full time basis, so you will be well-supported. The school has many children who have English as an additional language, so experience of working with children new to English would be an advantage.

The school requires an early years trained teacher with excellent phonics experience and a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum. Teachers who are not EYFS trained but who have a lot of experience in Reception may be considered.
You should have a caring, enthusiastic and engaging approach to teaching and also be an excellent communicator as you will be liaising closely with colleagues, parents and on occasions, external agencies.

To join us and be successful in this Nursery Teacher role you will need to:

-Hold QTS/ EYTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
