Are you an experienced Year 6 teacher looking to take up a Year 6 class at a two-form entry school in Barking and Dagenham in February 2021? Have you got good Year 6 UK experience and strong behaviour management?

The successful candidate can expect pay rates of between £152 -£190 per day, depending on experience.

The school are looking for a Year 6 teacher who possesses the following qualities:

  • Recent experience of teaching Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 6) in a Primary mainstream setting.
  • Outstanding knowledge of the Year 6 Curriculum, here or abroad
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that will meet the needs of all the children irrespective of ability
  • Good Behaviour management will be
  • Good written and spoken English

Job Requirements

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent Primary teaching qualification
  • Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Experience of Teaching Year 6 in a mainstream school
