Are you an experienced and motivated Year 5 teacher looking to take up a temp to perm teaching position at a highly recommended state Primary School?
This coveted role commences in September 2019 and the school can offer a long-term rate of between £150 -£170 per day.

This three-form entry Primary School in the heart of Barking and Dagenham, is a richly diverse and multi- cultural centre of learning. The Headteacher and staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly.

Current supply teachers highly recommend this school and the Year 5 class:

There are 29 children in the class with no significant special educational needs and a few children with English as An Additional Language.
The children are streamed for reading three times a week and Maths for four times a week - the successful Year 5 teacher, would then have 23 and 17 children respectively at each of these times.

The school are looking for a Year 5 teacher who possesses the following qualities:
*Recent experience of teaching Year 5 or Key Stage 2 in a mainstream school
*Sound knowledge and understanding of the British UK Curriculum
*The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that will meet the needs of all the children irrespective of ability
*A happy, successful and energetic teacher who works well as part of a team

The school can offer the successful Year 5 teacher an opportunity to teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to enthusiastic and hardworking children. The children are engaged, behaviour is excellent and staff are respected. This is a happy environment, where purposeful learning takes place. Job Requirements
*Hold QTS status or equivalent Primary teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
