Are you an Early Years teacher seeking a new opportunity in a lovely, welcoming primary school in North London?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a truly beautiful school, which requires a Reception teacher to start after Easter in April 2020, with interviews to be held shortly.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a full-time Reception class teacher to join this "good" school based in Barnet borough, North London, for an April 2020 start. This role is due to last until July 2020 and there may be possibility of this role continuing into September, or in a similar role at the school.

This school is larger than average at three-form entry (3 classes per year group). Located in an attractive part of London, they are well-served by public transport. Led by a dedicated and established Headteacher and supported by a high-quality senior leadership team, the school has a very good reputation locally. The school is well-resourced and has some excellent facilities, including a lovely playground and a playing field.
Children make very good progress during their time at the school and there is a very supportive culture, with children encouraged to develop independent learning skills. The school has very good provision for outdoor play and Music and PE are promoted heavily throughout the school. They operate a creative curriculum with subjects based around a theme.

The Opportunity - Primary Reception Teacher

The school is looking to appoint an experienced Reception teacher to start after February half term. They need a teacher with solid Reception teaching experience and ideally a minimum of a years' experience, although they may consider an outstanding, early years trained newly qualified teacher (NQT). The school have requested a teacher who will be dedicated to the role and who wants to be immersed into school life. There will be a high level of commitment required for this role and the expectations of a permanent member of staff, including weekly planning, assessment, parent consultation meetings and end of year reports. However, in return you will be working in a lovely school alongside a great year group team and with very hard-working, committed support staff.
The school wish to recruit a primary teacher who:
*Is hard-working, professional and highly motivated
*Has at least a years' experience and who has worked with Reception aged children before
*Has good experience of assessment for learning and to plan for future progress
*Has good behaviour organisation, a caring approach, high expectations and able to get the best out of every pupil
*Is a strong team-player
*Is a good record keeper and who has a good working knowledge of the "Tapestry" system
*Has very good levels of spoken and written English
