Key stage 2 primary teacher
Lovely school in North London
Great team
Modern, well-resourced school

The School:

This is a very good school with an established team on-board. The school is larger than most, with three classes per year group and they have a dynamic Headteacher who is determined to make the school the best in the area. Each key stage has a leader to assist staff and there is then a leader in each year group, who teaches.

The school is located in Barnet borough and is modern, with great resources and facilities and there is a lovely, busy atmosphere around the school. The school has a well-deserved good reputation locally and behaviour is good. The school has parking and is also easily reached by public transport.

The Role:

The school is seeking an experienced primary teacher to join the school team in September, initially for a year but likely to continue. You will be working closely with a team of inspiring teachers who work closely together as a year group, including planning and assessing together each week. There is some flexibility in the year group at the moment, depending on the needs of the school(and where possible, the preferences of the successful applicant) but it will be in KS2.

Salary will be in line with the outer London MPS, £28355 - £40035, pro-rata, depending on experience.

You will be responsible for the usual duties of a full-time teacher, including planning, marking, assessment, parent consultation evenings etc.

The school welcomes applicants from teachers who may be willing to lead a subject area, with TLR points available.

You!

You should be a dynamic, dedicated teacher who is able to inspire and motivate children. A strong team spirit is essential and also a good sense of humour! Previous experience leading a subject area is desirable.

Unfortunately, the school is unable to consider NQTS for this particular role.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications) and experience in a UK primary classroom
Have previous experience teaching in key stage 2
Have a creative approach to teaching
Have the right to work in the UK.
