Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a forward-thinking and innovative primary academy in Inner North West London. The school are seeking a Year 1 teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning to undertake a full-time role starting from September 2020. For this KS1 primary teacher position, Inner London MPS salary is available - M1 - M6, £30,480-£41,483, dependent upon experience.

The school are also open to recruiting overseas trained teachers who have the right to work in the UK, and the headteacher is willing to undertake Skype interviews with international teachers looking to relocate to London later in 2020. The headteacher has recruited international teachers from countries with mutually recognisable teaching qualifications in previous years and the school are proud to be able to offer a thorough induction for all international and newly qualified teachers, as well as a supportive and knowledgeable staff network.

The academy trust has high expectations, ambitious and hardworking staff and above all happy and enthusiastic children with a thirst for learning. They run a series of internal networks including NQTs, subject leaders, EYFS leaders, SEN and Inclusion leaders. Alongside their internal programmes they also facilitate, and host licensed national programmes such as National Professional Qualification for Senior Leaders, Middle Leaders and Head teachers.

The school are seeking a committed, positive and ambitious Key Stage 1 Teacher who is:

*Innovative, creative and consistently maintain high standards of teaching;
*Able to lead, motivate, and inspire pupils.
*Able to demonstrate an ability to teach and model the highest possible standards of learning and teaching;
*Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.

The core duties of this KS1 Primary Teacher role include:

*To provide a high quality educational experience for all children by leading learning in School, developing consistent practice in teaching and learning and ensuring that children achieve the highest standards of attainment and achievement. Children are expected to make rapid and sustained progress.
*The teacher will contribute to the schools strategic planning documentation (SIP), supporting the ethos, aims and vision of the school

As part of this Year 1 Teacher role, you will be supported to:

*Adapt to changing demographics and environments
*Facilitate and lead outstanding learning opportunities and experiences for children
*Become outstanding teachers and learning must be central to every decision made and every development introduced.

Location:

The school is located in the Willesden area of Brent, with Overground, Bakerloo and Jubilee line stations nearby, and bus stop from several nearby underground stations outside the school. The school therefore is very accessible from all parts of inner London.
