This 1 form entry primary school in Beckenham, South East of London, are currently looking for a qualified Year 1 teacher to join their dedicated team from September. The position is long term and is paying an annual salary of up to £38,963.

As a small academy, with a single form in each year group, the staff here aim to give pupils a balanced, exciting and truly enjoyable education that prepares them for success in secondary school and beyond. Located in the heart of Beckenham, this school is part of a large well-established federation which runs five other successful primary academies in Bromley and more than 40 academies in total in and around London. They benefit hugely from being part of this thriving community of schools. Children work hard and behave well. They are rewarded for achievement and effort and they are encouraged to reach for their 'personal best', academically and in the way they relate to others. The Headteacher is keen to recruit a full time, long term Year 1 teacher to join the team in September.

The Year 1 teacher must have:
*Full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Experience as a Year 1 teacher or experience teaching in KS1
*High standards and expectations of both their work and outcomes
*Professionalism, adaptability and a hard-working attitude
*The ability to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Adaptability, creativeness and a willingness to help wherever possible
