Tradewind recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established primary school in Cambridge who are looking to appoint a KS2 phase leader as part of their ongoing journey to further improve standards in their already successful and progressive KS2 department. Employed as a full time class teacher, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of teaching sessions that inspire learning and help every pupil in your charge become the best that they can be. You will be working with a class of 25 pupils of good ability levels with excellent behaviour and a full time Teaching Assistant who will help with lessons, pastoral care and day to day duties. This class is described by the head teacher as "one of the best classes we've ever had at the school during my time here".

The successful applicant for this role will be one who lives the belief that "every pupil is exceptional" and constantly strives to bring out the best in these already high achieving children.

The school, based in East Cambridge is excellently resourced and has achieved a "Good" rating during their last Ofsted inspection. It is well serviced by public transport, is a 15 minute cycle from the city centre, has ample parking and is located close to the major transport routes servicing the city.

The school offers a generous PPA allocation to its teachers, shared planning sessions across KS2 with parallel teachers and an excellent selection of CPD which compounds the excellent array of 25 CPD training sessions offered free of charge by Tradewind to its teachers.

This position is for a February half term start and is open to teachers of all experience levels.
