A small, supportive primary school in the Camden area are seeking either an experienced or newly/ recently qualified teacher to start with them as soon as possible, initially 2019/20 academic year, but with a permanent role available from September 2020 for the right candidate. The role is on a full-time basis, and would involve teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class. Competitive salary available - MPS 1-6 Inner London - £30,480-£41,483, dependent upon experience.

The headteacher and governors are looking to appoint an excellent class teacher to join their highly motivated team. A small, friendly primary school located in the heart of one of London's most beautiful villages, this unique, half-form entry school serves the local community, welcoming families of all faiths and none. It is currently in partnership with another local Church of England primary school and offers successful candidates the opportunity to experience two different settings and be supported by a wider staff community.

The schools' children come to school ready to learn and they aim to provide pupils with secure foundations for life, so that they leave with an excellent all round education and a love of learning.

The ideal candidate for this Key Stage 2 primary teacher role will have:

It is essential that you demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning and behaviour strategies, and have a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, with excellent subject knowledge in Numeracy and Literacy.

Location:
The school is based near to Hampstead and Finchley Road stations, and is very accessible via national Northern line, Jubilee line and Overground services.
