An independent international school in the Camden area of North West London are seeking a full-time Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to start in April 2019 or sooner for the right candidate . The role is a class teaching position with responsibility for teaching an Key Stage 2 class, and with a fantastic salary available in line with experience (£29,663 - £63,400pa) The possibility of a Head of School Upper Primary (ages 8-11) responsibility allowance may be available for the right candidate.

They seek to appoint staff members who have the willingness to recognise the diversity that exists in the student body, to teach from a multi-cultural perspective and to practise the highest standards of professionalism.
The responsibilities for this Key Stage 2 Class Teacher role will include:
*Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class
*Thoroughly plan lessons making full use of a variety of resources and in line with the curriculum, ensuring that materials and activities are planned to support and extend learning
*Ensuring the content and method/s of a lesson's delivery are engaging, relevant and challenging, placing appropriate emphasis on independent and evidence-based learning
*Ensuring the needs of all levels of ability are met, including those who are very able language learners or who require learning support
*Ensuring that feedback given to students is timely, specific and helpful so that the students are able to reflect and act on their learning, in line with the school's assessment policy.
The ideal candidate for this Key Stage 2 Class Teacher role will:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status or NARIC accepted equivalent
*Have relevant, proven teaching experience in an international school (not essential)
*Have a proven record of excellent teaching, and leading a team
*Demonstrate an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning
*Develop excellent and appropriate relationships with students
*Have strong IT skills and the ability to deliver integrated digital learning
*Possess a strong track record in the teaching of English and Mathematics in Early Years
