About the School - KS2 Teacher- Greenwich, South East London

Based in the borough of Greenwich, this happy one-form entry primary school is an innovative setting that encourage pupils to develop creatively and through sports alongside the development of academic skills. As a smaller than average school, with 250 children on roll, there is a tight knit community feel where parents are highly supportive of the learning environment. The school has had a recent successful focus on Maths in which they have utilised Singapore mathematics and are looking for an enthusiastic KS2 teacher who can bring their own ideas to the school! The school is a happy and warm environment with low staff turnover where you will be supported throughout the rest of the academic year. This vacancy has arisen due to a teacher going on maternity leave over Christmas so you will be teaching a motivated class of 28 Year 5 children through an engaging and broad curriculum. Additionally, the school is part of a local academy trust where there are opportunities to access CPD and moderation opportunities. QTS achieved and observed "good" level of teaching.
You will be a confident KS2 teacher who enjoys teaching a creative and balanced curriculum.
For this position, you will need to be available for January 2020
The suitable KS2 teacher will be an individual who is committed to planning a holistic approach to the curriculum and ensuring high attainment levels.
For this role, you will be a KS2 teacher who has previously taught in KS2.
