Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a passionate KS1 Primary Teacher to join this OFSTED rated 'Good' Primary School based in Greenwich for an ASAP start. This is a full-time contract role and the salary will be on a daily basis between £156.30 up to £212.73 per day dependent on experience.

This school is an excellent 2 form entry school where pre-lockdown progress in reading and writing was above the national average where maths is well above the national average. With over 400 pupils on roll, EAL is high within the school at close to 60%. The school require a Primary Teacher to work within KS1 to help run booster and intervention groups to help catch up the learning that has been missed.

OFSTED did a short inspection in 2017 and they continued to be good, they had made good progress in phonics, which was one of the main areas for improvement. Behaviour in school is good with a harmonious environment around school.

Tradewind are looking for a KS1 Primary Teacher that will help catch up the students through good to outstanding lessons, delivered at the right level for all to access and learn. The successful candidate should be responsible and respectful to up hold the values currently in school.

The school is a based in Greenwich and is easily accessible by car, bus and tube, it is less than a 15-minute walk from the station. The school does have on-site parking for all staff.

- Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification

- Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points

- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained

- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
