Year 6 Primary teacher - "Good" Hackney School - a permanent contract from September 2019.

Are you an experienced Year 6 Teacher looking to work in a one-form entry school, based in a brand new - state of the art school with excellent facilities?

This "Good" Primary school is offering permanent contracts with inner London pay scales from £28660 (M1) - £39006 (M6), depending on experience.

This is a Modern school which offers a unique curriculum experience based on practical, hands-on learning due to dedicated specialist teaching spaces. These include a cookery room, drama studio, art workshop, rooftop lab and outdoor learning area. There are four outdoor spaces designed to meet the needs of each age group while promoting physical activity and imaginative play. This school bases its ethos on an inclusive approach where every child thrives. There is an emphasis on raising standards in literacy and numeracy alongside a bespoke curriculum for the Arts, Sciences and Humanities.

The borough of Hackney is a vibrant and regenerated part of London which benefits from large parks; restaurants and bars that cater to a varied of tastes. The school is based close to Victoria Park, and accessible by a number of overground trains.

The school are looking for a Year 6 Primary teacher who possesses the following qualities:
*A passion for teaching children and an understanding of Good Teaching practise
*Sound knowledge and experience of delivering British UK Curriculum particularly in Year 6
*The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that will meet the needs of all the children irrespective of ability
*Experience of SATS preferred although not essential
*A team player who has tons of initiative.

Job Requirements
*Hold QTS status or equivalent Primary teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
