This well- managed two-form entry Primary School in Hackney, is a well-oiled machine where children are respectful and behaviour is excellent.
This is a long-term Year 2 teaching role with pay rates of between £140 -£170, depending on experience.

This school is based in the vibrant and diverse community of Hackney, East London. The school provides a rich and exciting curriculum to develop the confidence and enthusiasm for learning that will take the children through secondary school and beyond.

The school are looking for a Year 2 Primary teacher that can:
-Deliver engaging, challenging and fun lessons suitable for Year 2 children.
-Manage well-behaved but chatty children!
-Mark effectively by following the school's marking policy
-Encourage each child to child to work to their full potential
-Work independently while being very much a team player

The school is a based in Hackney, a diverse and recently gentrified East London borough, that offers great gastro pubs; food markets and Victoria Park. The school is in walking distance of the Northern Line and close to an over ground train station.

Job Requirements
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Experience of teaching Year 2
