The school is yet to confirm what year they are recruiting for, as they do have the ability to manoeuvre things around to best suit the new teacher joining the team. You will be required to plan for your preferred year group, although as a 2 form entry school there is the opportunity to co-plan and many plans will be left by the teacher going on maternity leave. Some adaptation will be required. The Leadership team are also very supportive and you will have a Deputy Head on hand to assist.

The school is based in Hemel Hempstead and has very easy access to the M1 and M25 with a large school car park. Alternatively a 30 minute walk from the main train station and also directly opposite a bus stop with excellent bus links.

This primary teacher post is a fixed term maternity contract starting January 2020 with the salary on offer ranging between MPS1 and MPS6.

The essentials
Hold PGCE with QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
