A primary school in inner North London are seeking a full-time Class Teacher to start in September 2020. The role is a class teaching position with responsibility for teaching a Year 2 class, and with competitive salary available in line with experience (MPS 1-6 Inner London - £30,480-£41,483)

The school are also open to recruiting overseas trained teachers who have right to work in the UK, and the headteacher is willing to undertake Skype interviews with international teachers looking to relocate to London later in 2020. The headteacher has recruited international teachers from countries with mutually recognisable teaching qualifications in recent years and the school are proud offer a thorough induction for all international and newly qualified teachers, as well as a supportive and knowledgeable staff network.

For this Key Stage 1, Year 2 class teacher role, the school are seeking an inspirational teacher to join their friendly, enthusiastic, hardworking team, and welcome applications from newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers.

The responsibilities for this Year 2 primary teacher role will include:

Teach a class, working constructively as a member of staff within the whole school team, including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the pupils in school and elsewhere, planning differentiated work to meet the needs of individuals and groups providing progression and continuity

Plan, teach, monitor and evaluate the education programme for the children taught, using knowledge of school policies, schemes of work and national curriculum requirements for the relevant curricular areas.

Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils; using a variety of methods according to national curriculum requirements and school policies.
