This community based three-form entry Primary School is in Barking and Dagenham and has a large carpark for staff.

The school is looking for an eager and committed Year 5 teacher who is first and foremost ; kind and committed to children's education. As the successful Year 5 teacher, you'll be joining

two other committed Year 5 teachers who plan as a team, share ideas and work together to benefit the children. There are clear boundaries for the children's behaviour and consequences that are carried through. Senior Leadership is welcoming and supportive. The school are looking for a Year 5 teacher who possesses the following qualities:

• Experience of delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons for Year 5s
• Excellent knowledge of the Year 5 Curriculum, in the UK or abroad
• Good Behaviour management
• Available to commit till at least July 2021
• Good written and spoken English

Job Requirements

• Hold QTS status or equivalent Primary teaching qualification
• Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
• Experience of Teaching Year 5 or Key Stage 2 in a mainstream school
