This Year 6 maternity cover, is offering long-term rates of between £160 - £200, depending on experience.

As the successful Year 6 teacher, you will spend the first two weeks after schools reopen on the 6th March, getting to know the children and easing them into school.

When lessons resume, you'll be joining a team of 4 other Year 6 teachers, planning collaboratively and delivering dynamic and thought-provoking lessons to a lively and bright class. There is an experienced teaching assistant who has been at the school for some time and knows the children well. The school are looking for someone who is nurturing and kind - experience of teaching Y6 is preferable although not essential.. This is a full-time role for a Year 6 mixed ability class.

This five-form entry Primary School has been rated "Good" by Ofsted. This is a child-centred and friendly school - Senior staff including the Headteacher are particularly supportive and approachable. There are high expectations of behaviour and behaviour is generally very good.

The school has parking and is in easy distance of the District Line.

Job Requirements
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualifications
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
Experience of working as a Year 6 teacher or Key Stage 2 teacher.
