Would you like to teach smaller primary classes with impeccable behaviour?
Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with a charming independent primary school who have asked to assist them in finding an outstanding Lower Key Stage 2 Primary (Years 3 or 4) Teacher to cover a maternity leave, commencing in April 2019. The school have highlighted that following a successful placement, an ongoing/permanent role could be offered.
This is a very rewarding opportunity to work in with a unique, family feel environment. All classes are smaller than the average (approximately 15 students per class) meaning lessons can be tailored specifically to each pupil. With this approach, pupils' behaviour is very good and they achieve extremely well with many earning scholarships and entry to grammar schools. This does require hard work during term time but the successful teachers will be rewarded with additional holiday! There are also opportunities to progress and take on additional responsibilities should you wish.
The school are firm believers that their school should be a safe, caring place, where all children reach their full potential as learners. Pupils are encouraged to do their very best and they are proud of the children's achievements both in and beyond the classroom. Their talented team of staff work hard to provide an exciting curriculum for pupils, continuously improving the opportunities and environment which support their learning and personal development.
The school is easily accessible by car and public transport from Essex, Hertfordshire and London. The local tube station is walking distance to the school.
The successful Primary Teacher will be:
*Familiar and confident with the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
*A committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role
*Consistently motivated to deliver engaging lessons on a daily basis
*An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
*A positive and personable role model for their class
*Both newly qualified and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply for this rare opportunity
