Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Year 1 Teacher to join a lovely Primary School in Newham from Easter 2021, this is for one term. Situated in the heart of Newham, the school has been rated Good and is a small, community school with supportive parents and children eager to learn.
The school are looking for a Year 1 teacher with the following qualities:
* An engaging personality and teaching style
* Good classroom management
* Knowledge of curriculum and standards in Y1
* The ability to work independently
* High expectations of their students
This is a great role for an experienced Year 1 teacher who can hit the road running and wants to have responsibility for a small class of Year 1s.
The school is based in the Borough of Newham, one of London's most culturally diverse boroughs in great proximity of Central London.
To join us and be successful in this Year 1 Teaching role you will need to:
- Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
- Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Experience of Teaching Year 1, preferably in the UK
