About the school

This school is a large multi-cultural school, which predominantly caters for EAL children. There are currently, 27 languages spoken in school and this widening diversity adds richness to the school culturally. They put a high value of the social, emotional, spiritual and cultural aspects of education as well as the academic side. As a result, they offer a lot of alternative provision and encourage children to lean through music, sport, adventure and offer several residential trips. There are fantastic opportunities for CPD as well as numerous career development opportunities within this school. I have several candidates that have worked in the school who all speak highly of their experience and how well received and valued they were.

About the role

We are looking for an innovative and inspirational teacher to teach a Yr1 class for the last term of this year. The school is 2 form entry, as such you will be joining an established team of teachers and teaching assistants across the year group. They adopt a team teach process which means that responsibility is shared among the team, leaning to a better work life balance. As a result, Yr1 experience is not a necessity however, they would prefer a teacher with experience in either EYFS or KS1. There is plenty of support on hand and lot of incentives and encouragement for the children to ensure engagement is maintained.
