Overview:

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher for a vibrant mainstream primary school located in St. Helens. This exciting opportunity is set to commence in September 2024 and will span the entire academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 3 students.
  • Planning, preparing, and assessing all aspects of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Tracking and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development.
  • Contributing to the wider school community and participating in school events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS.
  • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement and well-being.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to professional development.
