This three-form Primary School is offering a permanent contract for a Reception teacher with a starting Outer London salary from (M1) £26662 - (M4) £33047.
As part of a successful three-school federation, staff benefit from exceptional training and support; shared resources and access to professional development and career development. This is a loose federation which benefits from working closely while maintaining their autonomy.
This is a great role for an experienced Early Years' teacher as part of your role will be supporting the trainee teacher in Early Years. Although the "face" of the class, as the year progresses the trainee teacher will take more and more responsibility for the class. Planning will be jointly done between the class teacher and trainee - The EYFS lead will take responsibility for mentoring and observations.
To be considered for this great Reception teaching post you will need to:
Have working knowledge of the theory and practise of teaching Reception
Have excellence practise in the classroom
Be able to mentor and support a trainee in EYFS
Have high expectations of children and their behaviour
The school is based in the East London Borough of Waltham Forest, which is a large and affordable part of London. It is a short walk from an over ground train station and is surrounded by multiple parks.
To join us and be successful in this Reception teaching role you will need to:
-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
