This teaching role is to start after February half term on a long term basis (min 1 term), as this vacancy has come to light to cover a secondment of a full time member of staff. There is a possibility for the role to become permanent for the right candidate as this school are keen to retain enthusiastic dedicated staff.

The school have average sized class rooms with a full time teaching assistant in each class.
The school can be easily accessible by public transport with train and bus stops nearby, including a small onsite car park. They have recently been inspected by Ofsted and graded as Good.

This role will entail teaching a Key Stage 2 class on a full time basis, which includes all aspects of assessment, recording & reporting pupil development, whilst creating a balanced curriculum in a stimulating classroom environment, the class teacher will have full responsibility of preparing and delivering lessons as well as conducting parents evening.

After personally visiting the school I was impressed with the overall behaviour of the pupils and warm welcome by the staff. I have been assured that there plenty of support is available in-house and access to a plethora of CPD. I would describe the school as well-equipped, with whiteboards & iPads in each classroom. The schools head teacher is well respected across school and described as hands on but very approachable.

Essential requirements:
QTS (or equivalent), knowledge and experience of KS2 curriculum, legal right to work in the UK, NQT or experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
