Tradewind Recruitment is working with a brilliant school in South West London, which is seeking a PPA teacher to start in February.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a full-time primary PPA teacher to join this "outstanding" school based in Kensington and Chelsea, for a February start. This role is due to last until July 2020 initially. There may be possibility of this role continuing in September, depending on the needs of the school at the time.

This is a two-form entry school, located in a lovely part of London and well-served by public transport. They are led by an experienced and dedicated Headteacher and high quality senior leadership team. The school is well-resourced and has some excellent facilities and has a very good reputation locally.

Children at the school join with levels below the national average(especially for speaking and listening) and leave at the end of key stage 2 with levels at or above the national average; testament to the great work going on throughout the school.

The school wish to recruit a primary PPA teacher who:

The role:
The role will involve you being the main floating teacher covering PPA time for teachers. You will be working with a broad age range, from early years foundation stage to Year 6, so you will have to have had experience across the primary age range and be ready for anything. Good communication skills are essential for this role, as you will have a regular timetable but there will be times when you may have to take a class at short notice. There may also a "supply" aspect to the role, where you may take one particular class for the day, to cover staff absences.
The school is accessible to public transport by a 10-minute walk from the nearest tube station.

This will be a varied and interesting role in a lovely school, working alongside a lively and fun team.

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
