Primary Teacher - KS1 teacher - Salford
Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a lovely one form entry school in Walkden, Salford. The head teacher is looking to appoint a fun, friendly and welcoming KS1 teacher to join their caring team. The temporary role is due to start in January and last until the end of the academic year. The chosen teacher will be paid an above market rate that matches their experience and the role.
The staff continually look for ways to improve and develop their practice, in order to make the school the best it possibly can be for their pupils. The teaching team work hard to build a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum. They aim to provide as many practical experiences as possible which engage and motivate the children to develop a love of learning. Parents at the school are actively encouraged to contribute to their child's learning and school life.
As a KS1 teacher you will need to ensure you utilise opportunities to create cross curricular experiences that enrich the children's' learning. You will be expected to:
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's attainment and personal development
*Build strong working relationships with your partner teacher and other class teachers
*Establishing positive and supportive relationships with parents and carers
*Encouraging pupils to express their opinions, thoughts and feelings
*Set high expectations for pupil behaviour.
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment based on mutual respect.
We are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status
*Excellent organisational skills
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
