Tradewind are currently recruiting an experienced Primary teacher to work for a fantastic two-form entry school in Ashton Under-Lyne, Tameside. This is full-time class teacher post which will commence after half term and will run until end of the academic year. As a teacher joining the KS2 department, your responsibilities will include:
*Undertaking full class teaching responsibilities for a KS2 class.
*Teaching a balanced curriculum attaining the highest standards of teaching and learning whilst allowing for creativity and cross-curricular opportunities
*Detailed planning and delivery of lessons that are engaging, inspiring and memorable
*Reflecting on lessons to identify and address misconceptions and understand when to revisit and reteach to consolidate learning
*Planning targeted interventions across core subjects to bridge learning gaps and make use of support staff effectively to accelerate pupil progress
*Keep detailed records of progress and analyse data to inform future planning
*Work well independently as well as part of a team being open to new ideas as well as sharing knowledge of you own expertise area
*Use modern technology to enhance learning opportunities
*Contribute to the extra-curricular programme and wider school events
As part of the KS2 team, you will have full access to a range of CPD opportunities and be fully supported in your role. The school has accessible links to wider areas of Manchester and benefits from a secure car park with spaces available for all members of staff.
Essential requirements:
*QTS Certification.
*A minimum of 2 Years of teaching experience is desired but not essential
*Demonstrated success in KS2 with references to support
*Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
*Have a right to work in the UK
