Tradewind are currently recruiting an experienced Primary teacher to work for a fantastic three-form entry school in Hyde, Tameside. This is full-time class teacher post which will commence January 2021 and will run until at least the end of the academic year with the possibility of an extension depending on your success in the role. The school was graded 'Good' in its most recent OFSTED inspection was praised particularly for school-wide good behaviour and significant progress in writing across both KS1 and KS2. As a teacher joining the KS2 department, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
*Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a KS2 class.
*Teach a balanced curriculum attaining the highest standards of teaching and learning
*Thoroughly plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate and inspire pupils and encourage learning beyond the classroom
*Build a positive rapport based on trust and mutual respect and encourage pupils to take ownership and accountability for their learning.
*Track pupil progress and effectively analyse data to plan targeted interventions to address misconceptions and bridge learning gaps.
*Incorporate a range of ICT into daily practice.
*Utilise a range of strategies that cater for visual, audio and kinaesthetic learning preferences
*Contribute to the wider curriculum and attend events in the local community.


As part of the KS2 team, you will have full access to a range of CPD opportunities throughout the academic year. The school is highly-popular within the local area and has a ranging of accessible transport links as well as a free car park with spaces available for all staff members.
Essential requirements:
*QTS Certification.
*A minimum of 2 Years of teaching experience is desired but not essential
*Demonstrated success in KS2 with references to support.
