This school in Lambeth are currently looking for a qualified Year 2 teacher to join their committed team of teachers on a full time permanent basis to start in January 2020. The position is paying an annual salary of up to £41,483.
The school has been serving the community and providing a vibrant, high quality education for over 100 years. Staff see all our children as individuals and nurture the whole child. This is achieved by providing a stimulating, exciting and challenging learning environment for all our children to discover, learn and shine. It is a two-form entry co-educational foundation primary with a specialist provision for children with speech and language disorders and a private nursery on site. There are approximately 440 pupils on roll. Set in an urban setting the building is very well equipped with excellent resources. All staff are committed to ensuring that each child reaches their potential in a happy, exciting and safe environment. It's a place where children want to be and want to learn.
The school is a short walk from a a busy mainline train station and can also be reached by bus. There is also ample parking for staff.
The Headteacher is keen to recruit a full-time Year 2 teacher to join the team from January 2020.
The Year 2 teacher must:
*Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Have taught in year 2 before, preferably with SATs experience
*Be able to both challenge, differentiate and bring lessons to life!
*Work effectively to uphold the schools high standards
*Engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Work effectively as part of a team
