Are you a qualified primary teacher looking for a Year 4 teacher position? Do you want to work in a popular primary school, which is oversubscribed and has a great reputation?
This school in Lambeth, South London, is currently looking for a qualified Year 4 teacher to join the team on a full time permanent basis to start after February half term.
The school is led by an experienced Headteacher and they were graded as "good" following their Ofsted inspection in 2018.
They are two form entry with three classes in some year groups, as numbers of pupils dictates. The school is well-resourced and has recently undergone extensive building work to develop additional provision for nurture areas and an after school club.
You will be joining a strong, established year group team who plan together each week, to share ideas and resources. The class also has an experienced Teaching Assistant in place, who works with some children on a 1:1 basis and also as a general TA.
The school is a short walk from a rail station and also close to a tube station and can also be reached by bus.
The Headteacher is keen to recruit a full-time Year 4 teacher to join the team as soon as possible, until at least the end of the academic year in July.
The Year 1 teacher must:
Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications) and experience in a UK primary classroom
Have taught in key stage 2
Be able to engage children with exciting and challenging activities
Engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
Work effectively as part of an established year group team
