The two-form entry Trafford school in Altringham are looking for Year 3 teacher to work 3 days a week Monday - Wednesday. The Maternity cover role starts in January 2021 and will be for the remainder of the academic year and potentially longer. The school are looking for a dedicated teacher who has a commitment to child development. The successful candidate will be paid at an above market rate based on their experience.
The school team work hard to provide the best quality service for their children, parents and the community. They act as a centre of the community and go above and beyond to welcome newcomers. The school is welcoming and safe where pupils feel a sense of belonging and team spirit and actively engage in learning and school activities.
As one of the Year 3 teachers you will be planning, delivering and assessing a broad and balanced curriculum alongside the other Year 5 class teacher. You will also be responsible for:
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's attainment and personal development
*Build strong working relationships with your partner teacher and other class teachers
*Establishing positive and supportive relationships with parents and carers
*Encouraging pupils to express their opinions, thoughts and feelings
*Set high expectations for pupil behaviour.
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment based on mutual respect.

We are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status
*Excellent organisational skills
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
